According to a recent study, using hair dyeing and straightening products increases the risk of breast cancer in women. Such products are especially dangerous for dark hair.    

This latest research was published in the 'International Journal of Cancer' on Tuesday, December 3rd.
Researchers reviewed the health of nearly 47,000 women who dye and straighten the hair to prepare this report. These women volunteered to participate in the research between 2003 and 2009.
It is also important to note that at least one of these women had breast cancer while participating in the research, but by then, she was still healthy.
The survey included black and white women and more than half used products that change hair colour permanently. After applying hair dyeing and straightening products for at least one year, the adverse effects on their health reviewed.
Dark hair products are especially dangerous
Researchers have revealed in a report that there is a direct link between the use of such products and breast cancer.
Products were available for hair use 'endocrine descriptors' that can potentially cause cancer.

Experts say that products used for dark hair have such a high amount of chemicals, so women who use them have a higher risk of developing cancer.
The consequences for black women are incredibly negative
According to this research, black women who dye and straighten their hair are much more likely to suffer from breast cancer than white women.
Using hair-dyeing products for a long time increases the risk of developing breast cancer.
Black haired and black women have an increased risk of developing breast cancer by up to 60%. In comparison, the risk is only eight per cent for white women.
Similarly, the use of hair straightening products after six to eight weeks makes up 30% of total breast cancer rates.
Products that straighten black hair are especially dangerous. 74% of black women included in this study diagnosed with breast cancer after such a
